A Place of Silence

A Place of Silence - 164K, NC-17 - About the changes Qui-Gon undergoes as he searches for Obi-Wan after he disappears and the price he pays to find him. Originally posted as a series of five stories; at that time, it was called The Devotion Series. (July - August 1999)

Devotion Series Epilogue - PG - Four years after the conclusion of "Synergy", events are set into motion that will change history. (September 1999)

A Moment's Peace - NC-17 - This post-Devotion series vignette is the first experimental piece in what may become a new series. Qui-Gon offers Obi-Wan refuge from his fears and doubts, if only for a moment. (October 1999)

Descent: Devotion Vignette #1 - NC-17 - This vignette takes place prior to "A Place of Silence" and just after Obi-Wan's abduction. Qui-Gon's dreams torment him. (October 1999)


Stand-Alone Stories and Vignettes

Cause and Effect - 21K, PG - Obi-Wan has some trouble controlling the Force, and finds mastering this task is not as uncomplicated as it once seemed. First published in the zine "Living Force". Spring 2001.

Penance - 27K, NC-17 - Obi-Wan exacts a terrible revenge on the universe after Qui-Gon's death, and even his master's presence in dreams cannot stop him. (April 2000)

Token of Remembrance - 8K, PG - Padawan Obi-Wan Kenobi faces the prospect of his own death, and wonders how he will be remembered by his master. (February 2000)

Mosaic - 44K, NC-17 - Through the interwoven points of view of Qui-Gon, Obi-Wan and Adi Gallia, a picture of Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon's relationship emerges, start to finish. (January 2000)

A Delicate Balance - 28K, PG - Obi-Wan makes a realization he's been trying to avoid. (December 1999)

Torn Apart - 98K, NC-17 Some drastic, dangerous changes in the relationship between Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan, with surprising causes and devastating results. (October 1999)

Deviations - 8K, NC-17 - Obi-Wan, as seen through Qui-Gon's eyes. Contains a very short scene with rough content. (June 1999)

Blue Shadows, Broken Mirror- 9K, PG - A post-TPM A/U; Qui-Gon reflects on how his love for and trust in Obi-Wan was his salvation. (July 1999)
